Katonah Museum of Art
The Katonah Museum of Art, a 2.4 acre site, has been a vital and visible cultural center for over 50 years. The new design for the Katonah Museum both clarifies and extends the Museum's mission through the redesign of the exterior landscape and strategic modifications to the interior of the existing building.

This new site design will remove physical and visual barriers, enhance the characteristics of existing outdoor spaces, and create multiple settings to explore ideas about art, culture, and nature.

The existing building will be strategically reconsidered to connect interior artistic programs with exterior open spaces.

The design envisions the site surrounding the Katonah Museum as a natural extension of its galleries, offering varying opportunities for the temporary installation of art in an ecologically rich setting.
