Weiss/Manfredi's Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology Featured in Architectural Record

WEISS/MANFREDI's Singh Center for Nanotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania is featured on the cover of Architectural Record's November issue on University Buildings. Dedicated on October 4, 2013, this innovative cross disciplinary lab building brings together researchers from Engineering and Arts and Sciences in an iconic and welcoming gateway to campus. The building defines a new campus green; it ascends as a spiral of research reaching its highest elevation at the forum, a meeting space that cantilevers 68-feet over the quad and opens to views of both city and campus.

Architectural Record's Joann Gonchar writes, "At Singh, Manfredi and Weiss have thoroughly melded landscape and building, integrating the project into Penn's campus, and making it difficult to tell where nature ends and architecture begins."

Winner of a Chicago Athenaeum's 2013 International Architecture Award and 2013 American Architecture Award, the Singh Center has also been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and Wallpaper. For more information, read the full article in Architectural Record.
