The Weiss/Manfredi-designed Corporate Co-location Building Unveiled for Cornell NYC Tech

The design of the second building on Cornell NYC Tech's groundbreaking New York City campus was unveiled during Mayor Michael Bloomberg's transfer of 12 acres of Roosevelt Island to Cornell NYC Tech.

The WEISS/MANFREDI-designed Corporate Co-Location Building for the new campus is a major advancement to the university's effort to bring technology, industry, and academia together in New York City. The building's crystalline geometries frame river to river views and bring natural light into all levels. Developed in collaboration with Forest City Ratner, the Co-Location Building is a loft-like design that fosters interaction and collaboration between the tech community and Cornell Tech students and faculty, providing shared spaces for entrepreneurial activities and academic inquiry.

As part of New York City's Applied Sciences NYC initiative, the Cornell NYC Tech campus aims to put New York City at the forefront of the tech industry.
