The Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology Wins 2015 AIA Institute Honor Award

The Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology has won an American Institute of Architects 2015 Institute Honor Award. The project will be honored at the 2015 AIA National Convention in Atlanta.

Challenging the established model of laboratory buildings, the Singh Center finds common threads between high-tech research and spaces for public life, opening the research to the campus.

The jury commented, "All science buildings should be this good," and "the bold forms and massing of this project make a substantial contribution to the Penn campus and create an extraordinary series of spaces for research and interaction."
