Climates Book Launch at Venice Biennale

Marion Weiss and Michael Manfredi's essay "Evolutionary Infrastructures" is featured in Climates: Architecture and the Planetary Imaginary.

Climates brings together writings and work at the intersection of architecture and climate change. Neither a collective lament nor an inventory of architectural responses, the essays in this volume consider the cultural values ascribed to climate, and ask particularly how climate figures, historically and at present, in our conception of what architecture is and does.

The book, a project of the Avery Review, is co-published by Columbia Books on Architecture and the City and Lars Müller Publishers. A reception to celebrate the launch was hosted by Columbia GSAPP on May 27th at the Venice Biennale.
