Kent CAED Wins Excellence Award
The Kent Center for Architecture and Environmental Design has received an Award of Excellence in the 2017 AIA New York State Design Awards.
The 117,000-square-foot Kent State CAED unites for the first time all of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design's programs inside an expansive 650-seat design studio. Sited strategically at a hinge between campus and city, the building establishes an innovative design hub and forges new connections between the university and downtown Kent.
Further details are posted at AIA New York State, Architect Magazine, and Architect's Newspaper.
