Weiss/Manfredi Honored With the President's Award at 2018 Heritage Ball

At the Center for Architecture's Heritage Ball last Thursday night, WEISS/MANFREDI was honored with the President's Award, which recognizes architects whose work has had a lasting impact on New York City and celebrates their continued contribution to the field.

WEISS/MANFREDI's New York projects span boroughs and typologies and are linked by the firm's recognition that architecture is not an isolated discipline. In each project, from the recently opened Hunter's Point South Waterfront Park in Long Island City to the forthcoming Robert W. Wilson Overlook at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, WEISS/MANFREDI creates a lasting public realm through their search for opportunities within the whole of the built environment.

We were deeply humbled to be honored on the same night as Larry Silverstein, Mitchell J. Silver, and Beverly Willis. Here's a link to a clip from the short film produced for the gala, directed by S/Q Projects, and here is Marion and Michael's acceptance speech.
