Weiss/Manfredi Is Honored at National Design Awards White House Ceremony

Weiss/Manfredi is a 2011 Finalist for the National Design Award for Architectural Design presented by the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Marion Weiss and Michael Manfredi, and fellow finalists and award winners, were honored in a White House Awards luncheon hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. In support of the First Lady's agenda to improve education and outreach, Weiss and Manfredi and fellow award winners participated in the Teen Design Fair to advance education and careers in design for local high school students.

Established in 2000 by the White House, the National Design Awards honor and celebrate excellence and innovation across a variety of design disciplines to raise awareness about design in our daily lives.
