Work and Words: the Diana Center

"Work and Words: The Diana Center" is a rare opportunity to hear from individuals who have framed critical positions regarding the territory of architecture and urban form. Marion Weiss and Michael Manfredi present the Diana Center as a product of their continued preoccupations with materiality, temporality, and urban connectivity. Dr. David Leatherbarrow, the interim chair of Architecture at PennDesign, moderates a conversation between renowned critics Barry Bergdoll, the Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at MoMA, and Kenneth Frampton, the Ware Professor of Architecture at Columbia University. The conversations range from the topographical to the spatial with respect to the creative development of the building's program, its sectional articulation, and its broader connections to campus and city.
