Michael Manfredi on the Future of Higher Education Architecture
Michael Manfredi participated in a lecture held by the New York Institute of Technology, where he joined Paul Lewis, principal of LTL Architects, in discussing the future of architecture practice for higher education. Manfredi spoke about landscape interventions and issues around resilience, equity, and the relationship between academic scholarship, public space, and the city. Notable Weiss/Manfredi projects that he discusses include the Tata Innovation Center on Roosevelt Island, a project for Cornell University, and the Center for Nanotechnology at the University of Pennsylvania.
