Longwood Reimagined: A New Garden Experience prepares for opening on November 22, featured in various publications

After seven years of design and construction, Longwood Gardens' $250 million expansion that adds new buildings and landscapes across 17 acres, will be unveiled to the public on November 22, 2024.

The centerpiece of the rejuvenation is the new WEISS/MANFREDI-designed 32,000-square-foot West Conservatory, a living, breathing building that houses gardens designed by Reed Hildebrand that capture the beauty and spirit of the Mediterranean. Other new additions include a Bonsai Courtyard; The Grove, an administration and education building; the Lower Reception Suite, which is home to 1906, a fine dining restaurant; and the relocation, restoration, and expansion of the Cascade Garden, the only surviving North American design of revered landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx.

The new garden experience has been featured in articles from The New York Times, Elle DecorTravel + Leisure, Wallpaper, The Architect's Newspaper, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
